Section library

Keepsake provides 28 addable section types and 37 starting presets. Some presets use the same section with different starting settings. A preset is a starting arrangement, not a separate feature that must be installed.

Find a module in the editor

1. Open the unpublished theme in Shopify's theme editor and select the page you want to edit.
2. In the Template, Header, or Footer area, choose Add section. Availability depends on the page and section group.
3. Search using a preset name from the tables below. For example, search Framed editorial hero, not only “hero.”
4. Add the preset, then select its section in the sidebar. Its section title can differ from its preset name.
5. Connect the required products, collections, images, text or blocks. Save, reload, and check the customer-facing page.

Expected result: your section appears with your content. An unconfigured product-based module may show a setup hint in the editor and remain hidden for customers.

Hero banners

Gift story	Simple gift hero	One clear image and introduction, with a button linked to an existing collection or page.

Use one main page heading. For a second campaign lower on the same page, select an appropriate secondary heading level instead of adding another H1. See Home and brand.

Product discovery

Editorial collections; Collection card grid	Collection image cards	Up to four Collection card blocks with useful destinations and suitable pictures.

Shop by occasion	Gift discovery links	Existing collection or page destinations for your occasion and recipient links. These links do not automatically tag products.
Gift finder	Gift finder	Up to twelve curated Gift idea blocks with actual products, recipient/occasion labels and useful descriptions.
Gift comparison	Gift comparison	Up to three products and accurate, comparable facts. It is a curated comparison, not an automatic product database.
Shop the scene	Shop a scene	One composed photograph and up to four product points that identify the actual items shown.
Related gifts	Product recommendations	The relevant product page and Shopify product recommendation data. Check that recommendations are available for that product.
Recently viewed	Recently viewed	Customer browsing history in the same browser tab. A new visitor can have no recently viewed products.

Brand storytelling

Brand statement; Editorial quote	Statement typography	A short statement and appropriate heading level. Use a real attributed quote only when you have permission.
Brand note	Short brand message	One useful sentence, such as a brand promise you can fulfil.

Image with story	Image and text	A main image, optional phone image, heading, body and working button destination.
Image story accordion	Image story accordion	Up to four Story step blocks that genuinely belong in one sequence.
Film with text; Wide film	Video story	A cover and a Shopify video or direct WebM URL, with a suitable media ratio and descriptive title.

Replace optional sample photographs before launching. Leaving an image picker empty can retain an enabled sample photograph; it does not always mean the block will be blank. See Product details and media.

Customer stories is an editorial section you configure. It does not collect customer reviews or verify purchases. Connect an appropriate review app if your store needs that service.

Products and product information

Gift product	Product and purchase	The selected product template and its purchase blocks. Product-page sections use the product currently being viewed.
Featured product	Featured product	An explicitly selected product, its purchase blocks and any personalization fields you want this section to collect.
Product story and details	Product story and details	Product description or your own story content, specification rows and optional expandable information. This is separate from the short buying-area accordion.

Do not assume a Featured product section copies the selected product's assigned template fields. Configure and test its own fields. See Personalized products before adding a second buying area.

Typography, announcements and signup

Statement marquee; Announcement ticker; Service text strip	Scrolling text	Up to twelve Message blocks. Use short text, optional links, a readable size and a restrained motion choice.
Newsletter	Newsletter	Accurate signup text, your privacy policy, and the actual marketing workflow you will use after collecting consent. The theme does not run email campaigns.

Advanced layouts

Flexible image and story; Flexible story columns	Flexible content	A small set of nested text, image, button or group blocks. Check both desktop and phone ordering after nesting.
Custom Liquid	Custom Liquid	Reviewed Liquid content that you understand and can maintain. Prefer native text or image blocks for ordinary content.

Product-template Custom Liquid is a separate purchase-area block. Non-empty purchase-area Custom Liquid changes quick-add and express-payment eligibility to preserve custom requirements. Read Quick shop and payments before adding app or code-based purchase inputs.

Why a module can be missing

• The search name differs: use the preset name above; after adding, the sidebar can show its section title instead.
• The page is different: use the page selector before adding product, collection or story content.
• Its resources are empty: select real products, collections or media and check visibility on the Online Store channel.
• It depends on history or recommendations: test with the required browsing history or recommendation data.
• The section or block is hidden: check the eye control in the sidebar and save again.
